Sensei Bob

Hello. My name is Bob. Some call me the three-legged renegade sensei of the dojo. But you can call me Bob. Sensei Bob.

My job at the dojo is to keep my pet human, Sensei Scott, in line. Even more importantly, I'm here to make sure everyone has fun. Karate teaches important skills. It builds confidence and can keep you two-legged types fit. But just because karate has serious benefits, that's no reason it can't be fun, too.

And at Karate Families, it is. I make sure of it. I'm Sensei Bob.

The sayings of Sensei Bob:

  • Have a great and happy new year. It beats the alternative.
  • No matter where you go, it's better if a dog is there.
  • Even cats have their place. Not in my dojo, but they have a place.
  • Tarzana was named after Tarzan, but he's make believe. I'm for real. Think we can get them to rename it Bobzana?
  • If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, there's no reason it can't be marked.
  • In life as in karate, it's all about balance.
  • Can learning karate and self-defense be fun? At Karate Families ... yes it can!
  • You're never too young to start karate unless you're too old to laugh.
