Sensei Scott Greenwood

Sensei Scott Greenwood is the founder of Karate Families. He brings 15 years of study in the art of Shotokan Karate to the dojo. In addition to Shotokan, Sensei Scott has studied Kali (Phillipino stick fighting) and Kendo (Japanese swordplay).

Sensei Scott is well known in the San Fernando Valley from his many years as an instructor at Dawn Barnes's Karate Kids dojo in Encino and his workshops at area schools. He launched his own school in Tarzana in December 2007. It's now the fastest growing karate school in the Valley.
